Automate workflows across 8,000+ apps. The Zapier connector gives agents a universal gateway to thousands of services — Slack, Google Sheets, Gmail, Jira, HubSpot, and more — without building individual integrations. You configure which actions are available through the Zapier dashboard.

Setup

  1. Go to zapier.com/mcp and create an MCP server
  2. Add tools (app + action pairs) through the Zapier dashboard and authenticate each app
  3. Copy the unique MCP server URL
  4. In Proliferate, go to Integrations and find Zapier
  5. Click Connect and enter your Zapier API key
  6. Click Save — Proliferate will test the connection automatically
Each successful tool call consumes 2 Zapier tasks from your plan quota.

Available tools

Tools are user-configured through the Zapier dashboard — you choose which app + action pairs to expose. Examples:
AppExample actions
SlackSend message, search messages, create channel
Google SheetsCreate row, update row, find row
GmailSend email, search emails
JiraCreate issue, update issue, search issues
HubSpotCreate/update contacts, deals
GitHubCreate issue, comment on PR
AsanaCreate task, update task
DiscordSend message
30,000+ actions across 8,000+ apps

Use cases

  • Forward automation results to any app without a dedicated integration (Notion, Airtable, HubSpot, etc.)
  • Cross-platform workflows: process a GitHub webhook, then update a Google Sheet and post to Discord in one run
  • Fallback connector for any service that doesn’t have its own MCP server
The available tools depend on your Zapier MCP server configuration. See Zapier MCP documentation for setup details.
