Product analytics events and user behavior signals. PostHog triggers are delivered via webhook destinations. When an event arrives, Proliferate creates an automation run with the event context.

Setup

  1. In Proliferate, create an automation and add a PostHog trigger.
  2. Copy the webhook URL shown in the trigger settings.
  3. In PostHog, go to Data pipelines → Destinations → Webhook and create a destination.
  4. Paste the webhook URL and enable the destination.
  5. (Optional) Use PostHog Filters to limit which events are sent.

Trigger configuration

  • Event names (optional): Only trigger on specific PostHog events.
  • Property filters (optional): Only trigger when specific event properties match exact values.
  • Require signature verification (optional): Enable only if your PostHog destination can send a shared secret header or signature. If you are unsure, leave this off.
